Updating dns pointers

Lync Server 2010 now has multiple versions of the update package, as they are both different clients (with different interfaces and features) as well as different device designs between vendors.

The Lync Phone Edition client now has two different interfaces.

To finish, you have to update some records at your DNS host or domain registrar.

The setup wizard tells you exactly which records to update, including the values you'll need for each one, and guides you through the steps.

Why add or update users while you're setting up your domain?

Your clients will now start asking the DNS not only for IPv4 addresses, but also for IPv6 addresses. It can still answer questions about IPv6 addresses.

As far as my other settings go, in the IPv4 "Properties" under DHCP Server, I have gone to the DNS tab and made sure that "Enable DNS dynamic updates according to the settings below:", "Always dynamically update DNS A and PTR records", "Discard A and PTR records when lease is deleted", and "Dynamically update DNS A and PTR records for DHCP clients that do not request updates..." are all selected.

So, does anybody have any ideas or tips or anything for me to try and implement?
